What is Sutan?
The Asador Sutan was born from the union between the Txapartegi brothers of the Alameda Restaurant and the father and sons of Rekalde from Bodega Hiruzta. Two Bidasoa families that for generations have combined the respect and practice of local cuisine with know-how and love for txakoli; gastronomic and wine tradition mixed in perfect harmony.
The cuisine of Sutan is local and seasonal: vegetables from the nearby farmhouses, local fish, mushrooms, meats, cheeses … taken directly to the grill and paired with our Txakoli. It is the way of being and feeling the Bidasoa Kitchen.
Where we are?
On the slopes of Mount Jaizkibel in Hondarribia and inside the Hiruzta Winery. A space that breathes tradition and modernity surrounded by 14 hectares of vineyards and overlooking Peñas de Aia, the oldest mountain in Euskal Herria.
